About The Practitioner

Christine Daniel, Certified and licensed Massage Therapist,  NASM Certified Senior Fitness Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist,  Stott and Balanced Body trained Pilates reformer/apparatus instructor, Certified kettlebell and TRX instructor and Self Defense Coach with a Muay Thai background.

I graduated from Duluth Business University in 2008 in massage therapy.

I grew up in the Twin Cities and moved to Duluth in 1997 and stayed there for 20 years. In this time I was an at home momma, child care provider, veterinary assistant, fitness and kickboxing instructor, and I even tried my hands at 911 dispatching for a bit. I have always enjoyed a combination of massage therapy and some sort of movement therapy to help re-align the body and create a sense of empowerment over ones body. Many pain patterns are rooted in long term faulty movement patterns. Massage and fitness/corrective exercise training helps to relieve tight, overworked muscles and activate the weak muscles, resulting in stabilization between muscles, joints and better posture. This leads to less pain and tension on a daily basis as well as improving overall strength and a sense of well-being.

Outside of work I am a very adventurous person enjoying the outdoors such as hiking, skiing, kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking, camping and inline skating. I'm a bit of a gym rat but I don't live at the gym! I love to read, practice yoga, play games, go to movies and theatre, try new things like ziplining and anything that gives me an adrenaline rush!
